Dr. med. Nahed Amro, consultant in Orthopedics and Traumatology. With approximately 2,000 surgical interventions on the spine, Dr. Amro has extensive experience as a surgeon. he has two orthopedic clinics in stuttgart, Germany Previously, he was the chief physician of the spine surgery department in the Paracelsus Hospital and has worked for several years as a Senior consultant in the Spinal Center of the Orthopedic Clinic Markgröningen.
The highest treatment objective is always the maximum preservation of the functionality and mobility of the spine .An operative intervention is only recommended when all conservative treatment strategies have been used and weren’t very successful.
The minimal invasive treatments include: disc laser therapy ,nucleoplasty ,facet joint injection,nerve root injection, iliosacral joint injection, hydrogel therapy, epidural infiltration/epidural pain management.
Acupuncture as well as manual therapy & chiropractice.
The main areas of treatment include microsurgical and minimally invasive spinal canal nucleotomy and decompression, as well as long- and short-term spinal fusion in the lumbar, thoracic, and cervical spine (open and minimally invasive), ventral and dorsal fusion at the cervical spine. In addition, the microsurgical vertebral body replacement and the anterior stabilization of the spinal column are performed via mini-lumbotomy and mini-thoracotomy, kyphoplasty or vertebroplasty and the implantation of intervertebral disc prostheses.
Dr. Amro is a member of the German Spine Society (DWG), the North American Spine Society (NASS) and the Ostheosynthesis working group of the international specialist association AOSpine.
